Senior Crewing Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Support, train, and supervise assigned Crewing Superintendents and Operators as required.
• Review and monitor safe manning of vessels, ensuring compliance with minimum and special manning requirements within vessel budgets.
• Ensure all seafarers are fully trained, qualified, and have valid medical certification according to company, STCW, and Flag State standards.
• Conduct crew changes in accordance with Seafarers Employment Agreements and coordinate logistics with vessels, owners, and operators.
• Arrange and monitor travel and visa requirements for seafarers, ensuring timely joining and relief on vessels.
• Actively recruit for open positions, plan officers and ratings rotation, and promote seafarers career progression.
• Manage and maintain accurate seafarer records, review disbursement accounts, and handle crew-related expenses.
• Investigate and follow up on non-conformities, observations, customer complaints, and address crew performance or training needs.

Requirements

• Seagoing experience as an officer, or a university degree plus at least 3 years as Crewing Superintendent.
• Good leadership, communication, and controlling skills.
• Proficient command of the English language.
• In-depth knowledge of international and national maritime rules and regulations.
• Fully conversant with Company's Management System and commitment to continual improvement.
