Senior Credit Risk Analytics Manager - Consumer B2C Fintech

A fast-growing, early-stage profitable fintech is hiring a Senior Credit Risk Analytics Manager to oversee underwriting strategy and portfolio risk management. Operating globally with strong recurring user growth in SEA, the company is building ML-driven credit infrastructure to expand responsible financial access at scale.

This is a high-impact role at the core of the business. You will own credit risk analytics, underwriting frameworks, and model development across multiple markets, balancing growth with disciplined risk management. Working closely with Data, Engineering, Product, and Finance, you'll shape approval strategies, optimise funnel performance, and continuously refine risk policies using data-driven insights.

Your mandate includes monitoring portfolio health, analysing default and approval trends, designing and deploying credit risk models, and implementing early warning systems to detect deterioration. You'll simulate policy changes, run A/B experiments, and iterate rapidly to improve performance. As the business scales into new markets, you'll also incorporate country-specific data nuances, regulatory requirements, and alternative data sources into underwriting models.

We're looking for a hands-on risk leader with 8+ years of experience in consumer credit risk within fintech, digital lending, or financial services. You should have strong experience building and deploying models such as logistic regression, scorecards, or gradient-boosted frameworks, with solid proficiency in SQL and Python.

Experience working in Southeast Asian markets and familiarity with alternative data environments will be highly valued. Role is remote, with SEA timezone preference.
