Our client isa global specialty and Property & Casualty (re)insurer. They are looking for a Credit Control Manager to assist their Credit team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in Town - easily accessible.
Duties
Manage technical accounting for premiums and claims, including accurate ledger entries and financial reporting for syndicate operations.
Oversee premium collection and credit control activities, including monitoring outstanding balances, resolving queries, and preparing credit control reports for management review.
Coordinate with Finance on premium bookings and signings, ensuring accuracy and proper validation of subscribed business.
Prepare and submit internal technical reports, such as monthly premium and claims bordereaux, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders (e.g. London office).
Maintain strong internal controls and compliance, ensuring proper documentation, audit readiness, and adherence to credit control processes.
Lead and develop the credit control team, while collaborating with regional stakeholders (Singapore, Australia, and London) to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Requirements
Knowledge or experience in various Direct and Facultative Insurance classes of business would be advantageous.
Knowledge in Lloyd's business and operations would be advantageous.
Experience in accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations and cash accounting.
