Senior Credit Controller (Insurance)

Our client isa global specialty and Property & Casualty (re)insurer. They are looking for a Credit Control Manager to assist their Credit team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in Town - easily accessible.

Duties

• Manage technical accounting for premiums and claims, including accurate ledger entries and financial reporting for syndicate operations.

• Oversee premium collection and credit control activities, including monitoring outstanding balances, resolving queries, and preparing credit control reports for management review.

• Coordinate with Finance on premium bookings and signings, ensuring accuracy and proper validation of subscribed business.

• Prepare and submit internal technical reports, such as monthly premium and claims bordereaux, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders (e.g. London office).

• Maintain strong internal controls and compliance, ensuring proper documentation, audit readiness, and adherence to credit control processes.

• Lead and develop the credit control team, while collaborating with regional stakeholders (Singapore, Australia, and London) to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.

Requirements

• Knowledge or experience in various Direct and Facultative Insurance classes of business would be advantageous.

• Knowledge in Lloyd's business and operations would be advantageous.

• Experience in accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations and cash accounting.
