Job Description
- Conduct detailed financial and operational due diligence on trading and shipping counterparties across global commodities markets.
- Analyse ownership structures, operations, and financial statements to assess creditworthiness and risk exposure.
- Produce clear, structured written reports that support commercial and credit decision-making.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and industry sources to gather market insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on research, portfolio monitoring, and data-driven risk initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 5 years experience in credit risk, counterparty risk, or financial analysis within commodities industry.
- Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret company financials and evaluate risk.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, able to deliver concise and accurate analytical reports.
- Detail-oriented, independent, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Proactive and collaborative team player with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities.
