This is a new role, APAC focused and joining an established legal team. The client is a PE backed DC business, with global footprint and excellent reputation.

Focus of Work

• Commercial: 70%
• Projects, Regulation and Compliance: 30%

Role

• This is a strategic role, created to support business expansion into the Hyperscale Data Center industry. As a hands on commercial lawyer, you will structure, negotiate and support teams on a wide variety of deal focused work.
• You will navigate and influence senior stakeholders to ensure local and regional strategic outcomes align with group strategy, this will be closely aligned with the Chief Legal Officers input.
• You will support key business units with regulatory and compliance led matters (regionally).
• This role will offer ownership and autonomy on deals across the region, as well as a chance to develop into a key people leader.

Requirements

• 8 - 14 PQE
• Looking for lawyers with tier 1 law firm training and relevant in-house experience or secondments (if significant in length)
• Lawyers should have exposure to Data Center led commercial work
• Your communication skillset will encompass local, regional and international stakeholders
• Stable CVs, driven mentality and excited to take on a challenging role are all expected
