We are seeking a seasoned Senior Corporate Finance Manager to support capital management, financing strategy, and financial performance across a portfolio of real estate assets within a listed environment. This role partners closely with investment, asset management, and treasury stakeholders to drive disciplined capital allocation, risk management, and value creation.
The Role
This position will play a key role in managing financing activities, overseeing treasury operations, and providing forward-looking financial insights at both asset and portfolio levels. You will be involved in acquisition and divestment financing, balance sheet optimisation, and ensuring strong governance across accounting, audit, and tax matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with treasury leadership to manage cash positioning, banking operations, and funding structures across assigned assets.
- Support asset-level and portfolio-level financing and refinancing initiatives, including lender engagement and negotiation.
- Monitor loan covenants, headroom, and compliance, recommending strategies to optimise funding and manage risk.
- Analyse and implement foreign exchange and interest rate hedging strategies in line with market conditions and risk appetite.
- Collaborate with investment and asset management teams on financing structures for acquisitions, divestments, and portfolio optimisation.
- Assess capital structuring options and funding mechanisms to support growth and balance sheet efficiency.
- Evaluate tax implications of financing and investment activities, proposing adjustments in response to regulatory changes.
- Prepare and review annual budgets and rolling forecasts, providing insights on asset performance against plan.
- Analyse P&L and cash flow impacts of potential transactions, including acquisitions and disposals.
- Oversee asset-level financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance on accounting treatments for complex transactions, including leases, derivatives, and hedge accounting.
- Coordinate annual audits and tax compliance for assets under management.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA) strongly preferred.
- Relevant experience within Real estate, REITs, or listed company environments, including prior exposure to Big 4 audit.
- Strong expertise in treasury, corporate finance, and capital structuring.
- Proven ability to manage banking relationships and lead financing negotiations.
- Advanced financial planning, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.
- Commercially astute, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, regulated environment
