Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end processing of corporate action events including dividends, rights issue, stock splits, tender offer and mergers across multiple markets.
- Review and interpret announcements from exchanges, custodians, and issuers, ensuring accurate assessment and execution of events.
- Perform reconciliation of entitlements (cash and securities) against records received from custodians to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Act as the escalation point for operational issues, while guiding team members and supporting overall team delivery.
- Ensure timely communication of corporate action updates and handle related enquiries from internal stakeholders.
- Drive process improvements, ensure compliance with internal controls, and support system enhancements and project implementations.
Requirements
- Possess a Diploma or Degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience in corporate actions, custody, or securities operations.
- Strong analytical mindset with good attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and resolve queries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VBA/Macros) and other MS Office applications.
