SENIOR COPYWRITER

At BLKJ Havas, we're looking for a Senior Copywriter who's ready to shape culture, crack briefs wide open, and make work that people actually care about.

You'll be the voice behind the ideas, the one who turns strategy into story and briefs into brilliance. You'll work closely with art directors, strategists, and creative teams to craft campaigns that are bold, smart, and culturally sharp. You'll write, rewrite, and push the work until it sings - and you'll help others do the same.

Job Responsibilities:

. Lead the Creative Charge: Elevate the craft of copywriting and guide the development of ideas that set the benchmark for creative excellence.

. Crack big ideas - to develop and deliver breakthrough creative concepts, grounded in insight, driven by creativity, and built to resonate.

. Write everything from campaign platforms to scripts, social posts, digital experiences, OOH, and more - with craft, clarity, and flair.

. Own the voice of the brands you work on, ensuring consistency in tone, message, and storytelling across every touchpoint.

. Present your work with confidence and conviction - to internal teams and clients alike.

. Partner & Align: Work closely with the internal team to ensure ideas meet client goals and strategic objectives.

. Build Relationships: Collaborate with business and client directors to foster trust and creative confidence.

. Mentor junior creatives, offering guidance, feedback, and support to help them grow.

. Stay plugged in to culture, trends, and conversations - bringing fresh thinking and inspiration to the table.

. Champion the craft of copywriting and contribute to a creative culture that's collaborative, curious, and always pushing for better.

Requirements:

. 5-7 years of copywriting experience within a creative or advertising agency.

. A strong portfolio that shows both concept development and exceptional craft in writing.

. Experience working across fully integrated campaigns (TV/video, digital, social, OOH, etc.).

. A knack for storytelling, sharp headlines, and strategic thinking.

. Strong communication and collaboration skills - you work well with others and know how to take feedback and make the work better.

. Strong organizational skills and comfort juggling multiple projects and priorities.

. A natural team player who thrives in a collaborative creative environment.

. Highly detail-oriented and process-driven, without losing sight of big ideas.

. Strong understanding of and experience in local (Singapore) and regional markets - you know what resonates here and across Asia.

. Bonus points for regionally or internationally recognized work (Cannes Lions, D&AD, Most Contagious, Mashable features), or other accolades that show your ideas don't just work, they win.
