Job Summary
As a Senior Cook at Tea Bench Pte. Ltd, you will lead kitchen operations, prepare dishes to company standards, maintain food quality, manage inventory, ensure hygiene compliance, and train junior staff to support a smooth and efficient kitchen workflow.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following company standards to ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation
- Supervise daily kitchen operations to maintain smooth workflow and timely food service
- Maintain consistency in food quality by monitoring cooking processes and presentation standards
- Monitor and manage food stock levels to support efficient inventory control and reduce waste
- Ensure strict compliance with NEA food hygiene and safety regulations to maintain a safe kitchen environment
- Train, guide, and mentor junior kitchen staff to enhance their skills and improve team performance
- Adapt to fast-paced kitchen environments and work effectively on shifts to meet operational demands
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Ability to lead and manage a kitchen team effectively
- Familiarity with food safety standards in Singapore
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Preferred on Diploma & Bachelor Degree Holders.
