Job Description & Requirements

• Supervise and coordinate activities of assistant cook and other kitchen helpers.
• Check freshness of food and ingredients.
• Ensure that kitchen area, equipment and utensils are kept clean
• Ensure good hygiene practices and quality control of food and presentation.
• Ensure all items prepared are done with the same level of quality and consistency
• Responsible in daily kitchen operations, stock preparation, kitchen housekeeping and cleanliness.
• Monitoring portions and waste control.
• Monitoring and controlling stock levels and inventory..
• . Able to commit shift, weekends and public holidays
• Possess a strong sense of initiative.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
