About the Role:
This role is responsible for managing and administering complex contracts throughout the project lifecycle. This includes supporting tendering activities, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring for FPSO/FSO projects.
Responsibilities for this Senior Contracts role:
- Lead review, drafting, negotiation, and administration of shipyard, EPC, and engineering subcontracts.
- Provide strategic advice on contractual risks, obligations, and rights to project teams and management.
- Support tendering activities, including preparation of contract documentation and evaluation of commercial proposals.
- Monitor contract performance, resolve claims, variations, and disputes promptly.
- Liaise with legal, finance, and technical teams to ensure alignment on contractual matters.
- Assist in developing and implementing contract management processes and tools.
Requirements for this Senior Contracts role:
- Degree in engineering, law, construction, or quantity surveying.
- Minimum 12 years experience in project controls, cost control, or commercial roles within construction, preferably offshore oil & gas.
- Experience in FPSO projects is desirable.
