Senior Contract Executive

Job description:

• Handle pre-contract activities in tender preparation, cost estimation, contract negotiations, and risk assessment.
• Manage post-contract activities including variations order, claims, extensions of time (EOT), and final accounts.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims in compliance with the Security of Payment Act (SOPA).
• Conduct project contract briefings for project teams to explain obligations, risks, and key deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore's legal and regulatory framework, including Work Safety and Health and PDPA.
• Manage project-related insurance policies (e.g., CAR, Workmen's Compensation, Public Liability) to ensure coverage and compliance.
• Administer performance bonds, payment guarantees, and warranties, including tracking expiry and renewal.
• Prepare and subcontractor contract, claims, and variations.
• Meet with clients regularly to discuss project progress, contractual matters, and resolve issues.
• Facilitate resolution of contract related disputes or ambiguities.
• Conduct site evaluations to ensure work progress, compliance, and quality.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineer, finance, and subcontractors to resolve contractual issues.
• Draft, review, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and service agreements.
• Conduct a monthly meeting to address project claim status.
• Maintain proper contract documentation and reporting for audit readiness.

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or related field.
• 3 to 6 years of contract management/project experience in construction or engineering.
• Knowledge of FIDIC, PSSCOC, and Singapore's SOPA requirements.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management cloud software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
