Senior Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Consultant with experience in project management & business analysis to lead tech implementation projects within Wealth Management Finance Division. The ideal candidate brings strong Business Analysis experience in technology teams-specializing in impact analysis, data quality, source-to-target mapping, and functional specifications for stakeholders and developers. Domain expertise in Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting, Reconciliation, Liquidity Management, Credit Risk, and Local Regulatory Reporting is highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• SME from Technology team responsible to analyze the impact of GL accounting setup/changes in core banking system and the impact on Financial Reporting
• Perform study with the Group Finance to align on the requirements, data mappings and functionalities/scope.
• Organize workshops with respective stakeholders and assess business needs.
• Drive and plan the application impact analysis after Business workshop.
• Ensure the functional mappings/data comply with local and Group expectations.
• Documenting detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
• Business requirements consolidation and formal validation from sponsor/product owner.
• Translate the requirements into non-functional specification for technology teams to develop.
• Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensuring a smooth transition to new systems.
• Identify any bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with technology teams to ensure seamless integration and development of the application or data interface flows.
• Work with various Stakeholders, to implement the deliverables and to resolve challenges and issues.
• Involvement in full development lifecycle, from Elaboration, Build, SIT, UAT, Production.
• Responsible for the organization of the work in each project phase.
• Build and maintain the Demand Backlog and plan release scope based on estimation and capacity.
• Work with the development team, Business analyst, Solution architects, Application SME's to design the functional solutions.
• Prepare Project governance deliverable required for each project release.
• Manage arbitration with business stakeholders
• Monitor and control the deliveries of projects
• Anticipate and mitigate risks and issues over the whole project course.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• Should have worked as Business analyst at least for 9 - 12 years. Over all experience not more than 18 years
• Hands on experience in the following areas are required(or a mix) in implementations is mandatory
• Financial Accounting (Must have strong knowledge in Transaction movements, Accruals, Reversals for Trading and Banking book)
• Liquidity Management
• Credit-risk (Collateral Management, Counterparty Risk)
• Regulatory Reporting (Basel III / Basel IV, SACCR preferred)
• Core banking (Knowledge on Loan/Deposit lifecycle)
• Data quality, Finance closing and recon process.
• Demonstrable experience in a similar role in Banking Wealth Management industry.
• Good working knowledge on WM investment product life cycle .
• Should have good knowledge and understanding of the information flow and various business functions in a financial services/bank.
• Must have experience in on Accounting/Finance system implementation lifecycle.
• Experience working throughout the entire IT project life cycle including analyzing and documenting requirements, workshops, testing and stakeholder management throughout.
• Background from Business analyst and transitioned to PM would be value added.
