Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business analyst to lead and manage a team focused on data analysis projects. In this role, you will oversee projects from end to end, acting as a hands-on Business Data Analyst while coordinating team members, developing comprehensive project plans, and presenting proposals to clients. Experience in Business Analyst roles is essential. Additionally, as a Project Manager, you will support business development initiatives and contribute to company growth activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements through discussions with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams.
- Create and maintain ARD, BRD, data dictionaries, and reporting requirement documents.
- Document business rules, source-to-target data mappings, and data transformation logic.
- Analyze source system data structures, data quality, and data lineage to support migration activities.
- Define and maintain master data mappings and report mappings for CLM and eKYC platforms.
- Specify data cleansing, standardization, and enrichment rules to ensure data quality.
- Design, prepare, and execute test cases for data migration and reporting validation.
- Prepare test data and support multiple System Integration Testing (SIT) cycles.
- Perform SIT validation to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
- Log defects, track resolution, and participate in remediation and root-cause discussions.
- Ensure traceability across requirements, data mappings, test cases, and SIT results.
- Collaborate closely with business users, data architects, developers, QA teams, and project stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, issues, and remediation plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology or equivalent of it.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in data migration initiatives. Over all experience not more than 18 years
- Mandatory experience in KYC / CLM in banking projects.
- Solid experience of data migration lifecycle, data reconciliation, and validation.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, profiling, and reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS).
- Experience in test case design, execution, and SIT validation.
- Strong documentation skills (ARD, BRD, mappings, data dictionaries).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience of KYC or CLM processes and regulatory compliance, exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), familiarity with data quality frameworks, metadata management, or automation for data validation and prior consulting firm experience and leadership exposure are a plus.
