Job Description

Job Summary

We are hiring for a Consultant with minimum 5 years of experience in Data Governance or Data Management and BCBS239 implementation with Security Compliance in banking domain.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the PMO for both the IT and Security departments, working closely with the overall PMO to drive and manage departmental project activities.
  • Track and monitor project plans, schedules, progress reports, dashboards, and all relevant project documentation to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Identify delays, risks, and issues early, escalate them to the overall PMO, and conduct deepdive analysis to support issue resolution and risk mitigation.
  • Execute data governance-related activities, including gathering requirements from other departments, consolidating information, and communicating with relevant system PICs.
  • Apply knowledge and best practices gained from past data governance projects to support project execution.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the overall PMO and system PICs to gather and report status updates.
  • Proactively share updates on issues and risks raised by other departments and crosscheck for dependencies or potential impacts on the project.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Must have minimum 5 years of working experience in Data Governance or Data Management within a banking sector.
  • Working experience with BCBS239 Implementation is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multistakeholder environments across business, IT, compliance, and vendor teams.
  • Strong documentation skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Working experience in banking projects, consulting firm, team management and leadership skills, and strong stakeholder management capabilities are mandatory.
  • Working experience with Risk Management, Finance/Accounting department about external/internal reporting is preferred.
  • Understanding of Regulatory Reporting/Internal Reporting, Finance/Account business process, related systems is preferred.
  • Experience in Project Management is preferred. (Progress, Issue, Risk, Stakeholders etc.)
  • Experience preparing executive-level reporting is preferred.
