What the day will look like

Senior Health Broking specialist working alongside the Head of Broking, Asia to coordinate regional placements, strengthen insurer relationships and support complex multinational renewals across Asia.
The role focuses on market engagement, broker training and the development of new revenuegenerating solutions that enhance client value and align with our regional broking strategy.

Local Country Broking and Regional Benefits Team Placement Support and Coordination

  • Support Best-in-class placement outcomes as part of our Client Stewardship/Management program for the top revenue-producing clients, in close collaboration with the GB team.
  • Partner with local country broking teams to manage local and regional carriers, supporting appropriate underwriting and pricing strategies, renewal plans, and the execution of defined key client broking roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with the Global Benefits group that interacts with multinational networks, including monthly stewardship meetings, annual strategy sessions, and ad hoc strategic initiatives.
  • Schedule and manage Client/Carrier Underwriting Days, coordinating the gathering of underwriting information and working with local/regional carriers to deliver sustainable renewal outcomes and enhance client understanding of pricing movements.
  • Support local and regional teams on complex and large multinational renewals to drive improved retention, client satisfaction and longterm relationship value.
  • Be an active participant and contributor in the APAC broking council and assist the Head of Broking As in drive the coordination of the APAC Broking council, preparation of materials and follow up activity

Carrier Relationship and Engagement

  • The management of regional and large local insurers that are core providers to our global and regional placement portfolios.
  • Coordination of International Insurer Networks across the region, ensuring effective local underwriting of global programs to drive improved pricing, terms and reduced pricing risk.
  • Support initiatives related to Employee Benefits financing, data & analytics representation, and other market solutions.
  • Support the execution of regional broking strategies and broking events

Consultant/Broker Training

  • Articulate core broking-related tasks, processes and skills to help develop brokers, placement leaders and sales teams across the region.
  • Contribute to the creation and delivery of training, playbooks, and best-practice tools that elevate broking quality and consistency in APAC.
  • Act as a subject-matter resource on placement strategies, multinational programs, and carrier engagement for internal stakeholders.

Revenue Stream Expansion

  • Identify and drive additional paid service opportunities around carrier analytics, tools and technology deployment, new facilities, and strategic insurer partnership arrangements.
  • Support the development and commercialization of new offerings (e.g., risk management bursaries, analytics packages, specialist facilities) that enhance client value and deepen carrier partnerships.
  • Partner with account, sales and broking teams to embed these services and solutions into client strategies and renewal plans.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Degree or Diploma from a recognised university or Polytechnic
  • Regulatory requirements for registration as Broking and FA rep with MAS
  • Min 10 years in the insurance Industry within Health and Benefits and with client/ market facing roles
  • Strong interpersonal skills - able to communicate well across organisational levels
  • Experience in a strategy, business analytics, commercial operations, or consulting (ideally within B2B services, insurance, or HR tech).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Strong skills in written and verbal communication, and analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills required
  • Ability to translate data into insights and communicate clearly with stakeholders across all levels.
  • Experience in project management and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and curious attitude.
  • Strong business acumen and interest in human capital, benefits, and digital transformation.
