Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Operations team in the role of PMO for the implementation of the FLEXCUBE CASA module for the Korea Branch.
Develop project plans and support Business Analysts in defining business requirements, while ensuring full system coverage oversee progress tracking and issue management throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide ongoing support to the Project Manager and the client's PMO by assisting with project planning, monitoring, and coordination to facilitate smooth execution.
Prepare, update, and maintain core project management artifacts, including project schedules, status reports, dashboards, and other relevant documentation.
Track project milestones, deliverables, and interdependencies, proactively identifying risks or delays and escalating them as required.
Support the preparation and consolidation of weekly and monthly project status reports for internal teams and client stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with the client's project management standards, governance frameworks, and documentation requirements.
Coordinate closely with workstream leads, vendors, and cross-functional teams to promote effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
Assist in managing change requests, maintaining risk and issue logs, and capturing lessons learned for continuous improvement
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent academic background.
At least three years of professional experience at a top-tier or well-established consulting firm, with hands-on involvement in banking or financial services projects.
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration capabilities, including the ability to work effectively with cross-border and geographically distributed teams.
Solid interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to integrate smoothly into diverse team environments.
A professional attitude marked by accountability, self-discipline, and a strong commitment to delivering successful project outcomes.
Business-level proficiency in English and Korean or Japanese, enabling effective communication with Korean or Japanese clients and stakeholders (mandatory).
Demonstrated expertise in performing a PMO role within package-based system implementation projects.
Proven hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle-from planning and execution through monitoring and project closure-with clear ownership of schedule, scope, budget, and quality.
Strong capabilities in risk, issue, and stakeholder management, including the ability to proactively identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, manage cross-functional dependencies, and communicate effectively with senior management and steering committees.
Prior implementation experience with, or working knowledge of, Oracle FLEXCUBE is considered an advantage
