Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Senior consultant to join us in Singapore supporting the ASEAN region. In this role, you will promote the adoption of Red Hat's solutions at our key enterprise accounts, government agencies, and service provider partners. You'll define requirements and deliver solutions based on the Red Hat portfolio of solutions and services offerings.
As a Senior Consultant specializing in Red Hat Automation portfolio, you will design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade solutions. You will work closely with customers to guide them on their automation journey, leveraging Red Hat technologies, open-source principles, and best practices. The role requires strong technical expertise, consulting skills, and leadership to deliver high-impact outcome.
In this role, you will perform on-site delivery and implementation of Red Hat Ansible solutions. You'll gain understanding of our customers infrastructures and business needs and make recommendations appropriate to their environment to create possibilities and resolve issues.
What You Will Do
- Implement and manage Ansible with a strong understanding of Red Hat OpenShift, container orchestration, and automation at scale.
- Win the confidence of our customers through the successful delivery of discovery, analysis and design workshops that shape and influence the customer's architecture design decisions to align with the Red Hat solution.
- Understand industry practices and Red Hat's policies, procedures, and values
- Trusted advisor to Red Hat and customer resources
- Considers customer culture/organization in their design and delivery of their projects and brings attention to opportunities for improvement
- Strong experience in defining best practices for deployment, platform hardening, platform observability, monitoring and alerting, capacity management, scalability, resiliency, security operations.
- Accelerates collaboration across stakeholders and the different teams in the project
- Mentor and guide junior consultants and customer engineers.
- Contribute to Red Hat's internal methodologies, playbooks, reference architectures, and shared consulting assets.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, platform engineering, and open source trends and incorporate them into customer solutions.
What You Will Bring
- 7+ years of experience working in a consulting/resident engineer role
- Hands On Experience and advanced knowledge of Red Hat Ansible platform and playbook development
- Proven expertise in operationalization of Red Hat Ansible platform
- Experience with infrastructure as code, automation tools, and CI/CD pipelines
- Good customer-facing skills, ability to present to customers and lead customer interactions
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills with both technical and business audiences
- Engagement in open source communities or contributor background
- Must have Red Hat certifications in Automation
- Proven ability to lead technical projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and produce high-quality deliverables
