Job Summary

The Senior Construction Manager is responsible foroverseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projectsfrom pre-construction through completion. This role ensures projects aredelivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with allregulatory and contractual requirements. The Senior Construction Managerprovides leadership to project teams, manages key stakeholders, and ensures thehighest standards of quality and operational excellence across multipleprojects.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead and oversee multiple construction projects from planning to completion.
  • Develop and implement construction strategies, work programs, and project schedules.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with specifications and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective measures where necessary.

Team Management

  • Provide leadership and guidance to Construction Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including design consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff to strengthen project delivery capabilities.

Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Serve as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, authorities, and project stakeholders.
  • Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and reporting to senior management.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Contract & Cost Management

  • Review and manage construction contracts, variations, and claims.
  • Monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Ensure proper procurement strategies and subcontractor management.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensur strict compliance with safety regulations, site safety plans, and company policies.
  • Oversee implementation of quality management systems and inspection processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and statutory requirements.

Risk Management

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project issues proactively to minimize delays and cost overruns.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of construction experience.
  • Proven track record managing large-scale or complex construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contract administration, and project controls.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders including clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
