Henderson Security Services Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Computer Engineer to support and enhance internal enterprise systems and technology platforms. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of applications that support business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in application development, production support, and database management within a structured and process-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications and internal systems to support business operations.
- Provide application support, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Ensure high system availability, performance, and reliability across all environments.
- Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and backend data processes.
- Support system deployments, upgrades, and maintenance activities across development and production environments.
- Monitor application performance, logs, and batch processes to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, security standards, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, user guides, and operational procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and stability.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in software development and application support.
- Strong technical expertise in Java / J2EE technologies, SQL databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server) and Unix/Linux environments
- Proven experience in production support, incident management, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with application servers (e.g., Apache Tomcat) and enterprise system architecture.
- Experience using development tools such as IntelliJ, Eclipse, and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of data processing, system integrations, and backend operations.
