Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex client onboarding processes, including enhanced KYC reviews, Source of Wealth assessments, and comprehensive client risk evaluations.
- Review, challenge, and validate onboarding submissions, periodic reviews, and transaction monitoring cases to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Act as a key liaison to the Front Office, delivering subjectmatter expertise on AML/CFT matters and providing guidance on clientrelated risks.
- Advise stakeholders on regulatory expectations and internal AML/CFT standards, ensuring consistent application throughout the client lifecycle.
- Mentor and supervise junior officers, providing oversight, guidance, and quality assurance across their work.
- Drive improvements within client lifecycle management processes and contribute to regulatory and operational initiatives aimed at strengthening controls and efficiency.
- Participate in crossfunctional projects focused on enhancing operational effectiveness, risk management, and the overall client experience.
Requirements:
- Degree holder with at least 5 years of relevant private banking compliance experience, including substantial exposure to periodic reviews.
- Demonstrate strong subjectmatter expertise in AML/CFT, covering KYC, Periodic Reviews, and Transaction Monitoring.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Front Office teams in a clientfacing environment.
- Possess strong knowledge and practical experience in applying MAS Notice 626 and related regulatory guidelines.
- Exhibit established leadership skills, sound judgment, and effective mentoring capabilities.
- Display excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholdermanagement skills, with high attention to detail.
