Senior Compliance Manager / Head of Compliance - Financial Services
Lead the compliance function of a growing global fintech payments firm. Youll ensure regulatory adherence while embedding a strong, enterprise-wide compliance culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all compliance activities, ensuring alignment with local regulatory obligations, internal policies, and best practices.
- Serve as the primary liaison with financial regulators
- Implement and maintain programs spanning AML, KYC, data protection, financial crime prevention, risk management, and related compliance domains.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure effective controls to mitigate compliance risks.
- Advise senior leadership and board-level stakeholders on compliance matters and evolving regulatory trends.
- Deliver targeted compliance training to employees, promoting ongoing regulatory awareness.
- Monitor regulatory developments; recommend and implement necessary updates to policies and procedures.
- Prepare and submit accurate, timely regulatory reports.
- Lead internal and external compliance audits and oversee remediation of audit findings.
- Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Operations, and other teams to support business operations while maintaining compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- 3+ years of regulatory experience
- In-depth understanding of financial regulatory framework
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Demonstrated experience in managing regulatory relationships and navigating compliance audits.
