Senior Compliance Executive (Environmental - EHS / Waste Management Industry)

Role Overview

This role is suited for a detail-oriented individual with hands-on experience in compliance and a solid understanding of Singapore's environmental regulations.

You will play a key role in ensuring daily waste management activities comply with regulatory standards, while supporting internal teams in maintaining proper procedures, documentation, and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Support compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements, including NEA, MOM, PUB, and SCDF guidelines

• Conduct routine inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure adherence to compliance standards

• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of waste management procedures and best practices

• Monitor and track waste handling activities to ensure proper documentation and reporting

• Maintain records of permits, licenses, inspections, and regulatory submissions

• Work closely with operations, sales, and laboratory teams to ensure proper waste handling and compliance alignment

• Assist in preparing for audits and inspections, and follow up on corrective actions

• Monitor changes in regulations and support implementation of necessary updates

• Support internal training and awareness on proper waste handling and compliance practices

• Handle basic data analysis and reporting related to waste management activities

• Perform other administrative or compliance-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in compliance, environmental, or waste management roles

• Basic knowledge of Singapore environmental regulations (e.g., NEA, MOM, PUB, SCDF)

• Familiarity with compliance documentation, audits, and reporting processes

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced operational environment
