Job Description

This role supports the sales and service of in-house marine systems, spare parts, and engineering services. It ensures the effective handling of customer enquiries, the preparation of quotations, and the coordination of service jobs. Close collaboration with customers, service engineers, suppliers, and vessel agents is required to ensure timely delivery, system support, and the execution of onboard or workshop services.


Job Responsibilities

1. Customer Management & Enquiries

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries related to in-house marine systems, spare parts and engineering services.
  • Review and respond to RFQs accurately and promptly, considering system requirements, stock availability, and service scope.

2. Sales, Quotation & Order Management

  • Prepare and issue quotations for marine systems, spare parts, and service jobs.
  • Support the sales of marine systems, including coordination of proposals, pricing, and technical documentation.
  • Process sales orders, purchase orders, and service job orders accurately.
  • Monitor order progress to ensure timely delivery and project execution.

3. Service Coordination & Execution

  • Plan and coordinate service jobs, including mobilisation and site arrangements.
  • Track vessel ETA and coordinate with agents for delivery, boarding, and logistics.
  • Liaise with service engineers and ensure timely submission of service reports.
  • Arrange travel, permits, and documentation for onboard or shipyard attendance.
  • Maintain accurate service job attendance records.
  • Support after-sales service, including troubleshooting coordination and warranty matters.

4. Technical & Commercial Coordination

  • Liaise with in-house teams to ensure accurate identification of spare parts.
  • Assist with basic technical queries related to marine systems and components.
  • Ensure correct specifications and documentation are provided for project execution.

5. Logistics, Administration & Reporting

  • Coordinate logistics for dispatch, delivery, and documentation of systems and spare parts.
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP/CRM systems for quotations, orders, and service jobs.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and documentation standards.

Job Requirements

  • Higher NITEC or Diploma relevant experience may substitute formal qualifications.
  • Entry-level candidates are welcome training will be provided.
  • Experience in the marine, offshore, or engineering industries is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and organisational skills.
  • Good computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, ERP systems).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).
  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday.
  • Willing to support urgent service matters outside office hours when required.
