Responsibilities:
- Estimating Strategy and Planning - The ability to design, develop and implementation of Estimating strategy and workflow in meeting customers requirements and satisfaction.
- Estimating Management and Execution - The ability to meet tender submission deadlines by preparing cost estimates and quotation based on estimating methodology.
- Estimating Cost and Pricing Research - The ability to source pricings from quotations from suppliers/subcontractors and conduct cost benchmarking and pricing research.
- Contract Development and Management - The ability to maximise the organisation's operational and financial performance by drafting contracts, negotiating the contract terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions, and effecting amendments.
- Marketing & Sales - The ability to value add by promoting marketing and sales function.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in cost estimating, quantity surveying, or project support in a marine and/or offshore environment.
- Familiarity with ship repair, offshore platform fabrication, or rig repair processes is preferred.
- Basic ability to read technical drawings and project specifications.
- Detail-oriented with good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
