Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Cisco Collaboration Engineer to manage, support, and enhance our Cisco collaboration infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications solutions, including CUCM, Webex, Unity Connection, Expressway, and Contact Center technologies. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless voice, video, messaging, and conferencing services for internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Cisco Collaboration solutions (CUCM, Unity Connection, Webex, Jabber, IM&P, Expressway, CUBE, etc.)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VoIP, video conferencing, messaging, and integrated applications.
- Maintain high availability and security standards across collaboration platforms.
- Monitor performance, generate reports, and recommend improvements for system optimization.
- Work closely with network, security, and support teams to ensure smooth integration with other systems.
- Support end-user devices (IP phones, video endpoints, Jabber/Webex clients).
- Document system configurations, diagrams, and processes.
- Stay current on Cisco collaboration technology trends and certifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-8 years of experience in Cisco Collaboration technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity, Expressway, CUBE, and Webex.
- Proficient in SIP, H.323, MGCP, and VoIP call flows.
- Strong understanding of QoS, LAN/WAN, firewalls, and network troubleshooting tools.
- Cisco certifications preferred (e.g., CCNA Collaboration, CCNP Collaboration).
