About the Opportunity

Kaiyiee is recruiting on behalf of a confidential international cloud and technology solutions provider seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to support its enterprise cloud business in Singapore.

This is a senior, customer-facing technical role for an AWS specialist who combines deep hands-on architecture expertise with strong consulting, communication and problem-solving capabilities.

You will serve as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers, working closely with sales, engineering and delivery teams to translate complex business requirements into practical, secure and cost-effective cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Sales Solution Architecture

• Partner with sales teams to engage enterprise customers, assess technical requirements and develop tailored cloud solutions.
• Independently lead technical discovery sessions, architecture presentations, solution workshops and PoC activities.
• Translate business challenges into actionable technical architectures and implementation plans.

2. AWS & Multi-Cloud Architecture

• Design, deploy and optimise secure, scalable and highly available solutions primarily on AWS and, where relevant, other public cloud platforms.
• Provide architectural guidance across compute, storage, networking, databases, identity management, load balancing and security.
• Apply cloud architecture best practices to improve reliability, performance, security and cost efficiency.

3. Cloud Migration & Modernisation

• Lead technical architecture planning for enterprise cloud migration, workload deployment, application modernisation and infrastructure optimisation projects.
• Assess existing environments, identify migration challenges and recommend appropriate migration strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to support successful implementation and technical handover.

4. Technical Consulting & Troubleshooting

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customer IT leaders, architects and engineering teams.
• Investigate complex cloud infrastructure issues, support root-cause analysis and recommend architectural improvements.
• Provide practical guidance on cloud adoption, operational resilience and continuous optimisation.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with sales, product, operations and technical teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Support complex customer engagements by providing technical expertise, solution documentation and architectural recommendations.
• Share cloud architecture knowledge and best practices with internal teams.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, cloud computing or related technical roles, including at least 3 years of experience with AWS or other major public cloud platforms.
• Strong AWS architecture expertise, including VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, load balancing, databases, networking and cloud security.
• Proven experience designing, deploying, operating and troubleshooting large-scale or complex AWS environments.
• Hands-on experience in cloud migration projects, including requirements assessment, architecture design, technical proposals and migration planning.
• Working knowledge of Linux administration, MySQL or NoSQL databases and Shell scripting, plus proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python or Java.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform or equivalent technologies.
• Strong customer-facing communication, technical presentation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently manage complex technical engagements and collaborate effectively across sales, engineering and delivery functions.
• Professional English communication skills for customer meetings, technical discussions and solution documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (SAA), or relevant advanced cloud certifications.
• Enterprise-scale, multi-region or multi-cloud architecture experience.
• Experience leading complex cloud migration, modernisation or digital transformation projects.
• Experience delivering customer-facing technical workshops, architecture demonstrations or PoC engagements.
• Experience working with enterprise customers and translating technical solutions into business value.
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency for technical discussions with Greater China customers and partners, including the ability to work with Chinese-language technical documentation.
