Senior Cloud Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, build, and run the cloud platforms. Working across AWS and Azure, you'll use automation and Infrastructure-as-Code to make our environments scalable, secure, and resilient, while keeping security embedded in everything.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure
• Automate provisioning and management of cloud resources using Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation
• Partner with development and project teams to shape cloud solutions that meet application, business, and security needs
• Build CI/CD pipelines with security controls integrated from the start, following DevSecOps principles
• Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, and security, and respond to incidents and alerts
• Review existing cloud architectures regularly and recommend improvements in cost, performance, and resilience
• Document architectures, standards, and best practices so engineering and operations teams can build on them
• Provide technical guidance and support on cloud-related questions and issues
• Keep up with developments in cloud computing and DevSecOps, and bring good ideas back to the team

Requirements

• A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure, including architecture design and implementation
• Strong proficiency with Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation
• Scripting experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation
• Sharp debugging and troubleshooting skills in cloud environments
• A solid grasp of DevSecOps practices, tools, and methodologies
• Working knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance standards, and risk management
• The ability to document architectures, standards, and reusable patterns clearly
• Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
