What You'll Do

• Lead complex claims management Investigate facts, interpret policy coverage, and manage marine claims from start to finish.
• Drive optimal outcomes Set and review reserves, authorize payments, and settle claims efficiently and economically.
• Collaborate across teams Work closely with Underwriting and Risk Engineering to deliver an integrated service experience.
• Influence and negotiate Engage brokers, reinsurers, and external providers to secure favorable resolutions.
• Identify opportunities Pursue recoveries, manage litigation processes, and mitigate fraud risks.
• Shape the future Provide insights on trends, support account retention, and contribute to new business opportunities.
• Ensure excellence Maintain compliance, uphold Liberty's standards, and champion our core values.

Experience & Skills:

• Significant claims management experience in the General Insurance particularly on Marine Cargo experience would be an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of the Asia Marine market and demonstrated ability to understand and apply legal principles to the management of claims.
• Excellent working knowledge of PC based systems and applications such as Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database systems for managing contacts, schedules and calendars is required.
• Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline would be desirable.
