Job Summary
You will support kitchen operations by preparing stations, maintaining cleanliness, managing ingredient lists, and collaborating closely with the Sous Chef/Chef to deliver precise, high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support daily kitchen operations by executing assigned tasks with focus and discipline
- Clean, inspect, and maintain kitchen tools, equipment, and workspaces to meet hygiene and functionality standards
- Compile and organize daily ingredient and order lists to assist the Chef's planning and inventory management
- Prepare and maintain mise en place to ensure all stations are fully stocked and ready for service
- Communicate clearly and listen actively to coordinate effectively with team members during service
- Manage stress and maintain composure to perform efficiently under fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen conditions
- Apply thorough knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene practices to maintain a safe kitchen environment
- Demonstrate reliability by consistently arriving on time and fulfilling responsibilities
- Observe details proactively to identify and address kitchen needs before they arise
