Position: Senior Chef (Malaysian Cuisine)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Chef to help lead the kitchen operations of our Malaysian restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of Kitchen experience in Asian cuisine, experience in managing a kitchen team, and a commitment to delivering authentic flavours and high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help lead and manage daily kitchen operations
- Oversee food preparation for both buffet and la carte service
- Co-design and develop new menu items with a focus on authentic Malaysian flavours
- Ensure kitchen hygiene and food safety compliance
- Manage kitchen staff and provide training where necessary
- Handle inventory management, budgeting, and cost control
- Respond to customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as Asian Chef, including experience managing a kitchen team
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian cuisine is essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Must be Singaporean or Malaysian
Working Hours and Rest Days:
- 6-day work week
- Schedule: 9am - 9pm (to be discussed)
0.5 hours lunch break
0.5 hours dinner break
Additional rest from 3:00pm to 5:00pm (4:15 on weekends) - One weekday off per week
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary range: $3,200 - $3,600 per month (negotiable based on experience)
