Job Description
Wealth Holdings Shipping Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based shipping company specialising in ship management, chartering, and cargo transportation. We are seeking an experienced Senior Chartering Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all chartering activities including spot and time charter negotiations
- Source and secure vessels to meet cargo requirements and business objectives
- Analyse freight market trends and identify commercial opportunities
- Negotiate charter party terms with shipowners, operators, and brokers
- Monitor voyage performance and ensure voyages are executed per charter party terms
- Manage relationships with charterers, shipowners, brokers, and agents
- Prepare and review commercial documents including Bills of Lading, Letters of Indemnity, and voyage reports
- Liaise with internal teams on operations, finance, and documentation
- Provide regular market updates and commercial analysis to management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in chartering within the shipping industry
- Strong knowledge of dry bulk / cargo shipping markets and charter party terms
- Proven track record in vessel negotiations and commercial deal execution
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound commercial decisions
- Proficient in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin) - required for liaison with China-based partners and stakeholders
