Senior Carpenter (Furniture)

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and execute furniture carpentry works including cutting, assembling, and finishing.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, layout plans, and design specifications.
• Supervise and guide junior carpenters, ensuring quality workmanship and safety compliance.
• Operate woodworking machinery, tools, and equipment with precision.
• Perform on-site installation of furniture, cabinetry, and fixtures.
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, durability, and aesthetic standards.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to meet client requirements.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness, safety, and proper tool usage.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of carpentry experience, preferably in furniture and interior fit-outs.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and finishes.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.Leadership skills with experience supervising a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
• Physically fit and able to handle carpentry tools and equipment.
