Senior C&S Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Lead the planning, execution, and management of construction projects, aligning with project objectives.
2. Collaborate with project leads to develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including progress tracking and corrective actions.
3. Work with design teams to review construction plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and feasibility.
4. Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies to identify challenges and provide innovative solutions.
5. Ensure adherence to quality standards through regular site inspections and monitoring construction activities.
6. Act as a liaison among subcontractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies to resolve technical issues and coordinate site activities.
7. Supervise daily construction operations to ensure on-time project completion within budget and to quality standards.
8. Develop and enforce comprehensive site safety plans, conducting regular safety inspections and training sessions.
9. Monitor project expenditure and assist in budget forecasting, reviewing contractor invoices and variation claims.
10. Prepare detailed progress reports outlining achievements, challenges, and timelines, supporting strategic decision-making.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Building Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in building construction, preferably with top-tier main contractors.
3. Proficient in engineering design software and Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Strong knowledge of local building regulations, codes, and safety standards.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proven track record of effective collaboration.
6. Outstanding organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
