Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Buying & Supplier Management
- Develop and manage relationships with aggregators, distributors, and direct brand partners across key markets.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers aligned with demand, pricing, and margin targets.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, and supply agreements.
- Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers through regular engagement and follow-ups.
End-to-End Merchandise & Order Execution
- Own the end-to-end process from sourcing to order placement, coordination, and delivery tracking.
- Execute day-to-day operational tasks including purchase orders, supplier coordination, and issue resolution.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in order processing, documentation, and internal updates.
- Support compilation of product lists, pricing sheets, and submission materials for campaigns or bids.
Commercial & Pricing Execution
- Conduct regular market benchmarking to ensure pricing competitiveness across partners and markets.
- Review supplier inputs and validate pricing, margins, and commercial viability before submission.
- Track and manage key commercial metrics including revenue, gross profit, and sell-through performance.
- Follow up on rebates, incentives, and claims with partners.
Partner Inventory Visibility
- Establish processes to track and monitor inventory availability directly with partners (no physical stock holding).
- Work with partners to obtain regular inventory updates and ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with Tec teams to enable API integrations or system connectivity for near real-time inventory visibility.
- Proactively flag supply risks and coordinate alternatives where needed.
Vendor Planning & Operational Coordination
- Work closely with vendors on campaign planning, product availability, and execution timelines.
- Monitor sell-through and product performance, and take action to optimize movement.
- Ensure alignment between vendor commitments and internal delivery expectations.
Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner with Business teams to align product offerings with client and campaign needs.
- Coordinate with Operations to ensure smooth fulfillment and service delivery.
- Work with Data teams to support reporting, tracking, and performance analysis.
Automation & Process Improvement
- Identify gaps in current workflows and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Support development of tools, templates, and systems for better tracking and reporting.
- Work with Tech teams to streamline order flows, pricing updates, and reporting processes.
Reporting & Day-to-Day Operations
- Prepare regular reports on pricing, supplier performance, and commercial outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, pricing, and supplier agreements.
- Handle day-to-day administrative and operational tasks required to support business execution.
Market Awareness & Benchmarking
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and supplier landscape across regions.
- Provide actionable insights to ensure competitiveness in all submissions and proposals.
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience in buying / procurement (preferably electronics, retail, or consumer goods).
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation and commercial deal-making.
- Experience working with aggregators, distributors, and direct brand relationships.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes.
- Ability to operate without fixed volume commitments and still secure competitive terms.
- Experience building or improving operational processes from scratch.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in regional sourcing across Southeast Asia or Hong Kong markets.
- Familiarity withe-commerce, marketplace, or rewards platforms.
- Exposure to automation, system integrations, or process digitization.
