Job Description

The Role

You will take full ownership of our loan production team, ensuring both commercial success and operational compliance. You will develop loan officers, optimise workflows, build strategic referral networks, and directly contribute to revenue growth. Your ability to blend business development with team management will be critical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction, ethical lending, and collaboration.

  • Design and implement efficient loan origination workflows - from lead generation to credit assessment and disbursement.

  • Develop and execute loan production strategies across our full product suite (e.g., Business Term Loan, SME Loan, Project Financing, Trade Financing, Green Financing).

  • Monitor daily loan pipeline, ensure timely processing, and resolve bottlenecks.

  • Set clear KPIs (conversion rates, loan volume, turnaround time, customer satisfaction)
  • Prepare monthly production reports for senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ensure the work adheres to all relevant Singapore regulations (e.g., Moneylenders Act, PDPA, fair lending practices).

  • Work closely with the legal/compliance team to maintain up-to-date knowledge of financing guidelines.

  • Build and strengthen long-term relationships with referral sources - property agents, accountants, SME consultants, and corporate partners.

  • Negotiate referral agreements and co-marketing initiatives to generate consistent lead flow.

  • Design and deliver ongoing training modules on product knowledge, sales techniques, credit assessment, and customer service.

  • Continuously gather feedback from loan officers and clients to refine loan processes and documentation.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or related field.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Sales from any relevant field.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM

  • Strong communication in English and Mandarin to liaising with Chinese clients and Chinese counterparts.
  • Self-starter comfortable in a fast-paced SME environment.
