Job Description

Expedia Group Advertising is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to achieve growth and sales targets!

You will lead a designated territory within Southeast Asia. At Expedia Group Advertising, we offer marketers access to the world's travel advertising platform, powered by the most robust first-party data in the industry. Our team of digital marketing experts equips advertising partners with everything they need to connect, engage, and convert travelers worldwide.

In this role, you will:

  • Achieve growth and meet sales targets.
  • Expand Expedia Group Advertising's footprint in the region through new client acquisition and the retention/growth of existing accounts.
  • Lead deal negotiations with key clients and deliver on monthly, quarterly, and annual goals within your assigned territory.
  • Guide sellers in developing robust territory plans and strategies, managing complexity, and navigating ambiguity.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key clients and prospects in your region.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to identify opportunities, support decision-making, and strengthen the Expedia Group Advertising value proposition both regionally and company-wide.
  • Work with executive-level media industry leaders to position Expedia Group Advertising as a leader and innovator in digital media.
  • Represent Expedia Group Advertising at key industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements.
  • Champion Expedia Group Advertising internally and collaborate with internal teams to enhance partner relationships.
  • Provide valuable input and feedback to teammates, including insights and findings from weekly sales results.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 8-12 years of experience in sales or business development roles.
  • Prior experience in digital media sales (publisher sales or ad platform sales) and working with SEA clients are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in consistently exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong skills in sales prospecting, negotiation, and closing.
  • Commercial acumen and entrepreneurial drive.
  • Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal.
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced setting.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
  • Fluency in local languages of Southeast Asia is preferred but not required.
