Our client is a well established EPC company with global operations..
They are now looking to hire a Senior Business Development Manager who will be responsible for growing the high-techbusiness (semiconductors, data-centers, biotech and pharma construction projects) in Singapore.
This role reports to the Managing Director.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in the formulation and implementation of BD strategies and activities.
- Initiate business connections with customers, suppliers and contractors, consultants, institutions, and government bodies.
- Promotes sales & marketing programs, CRM, presentations, business proposals, sales forecasts, internal feedback for improvement and studies of key success/failure elements.
- Acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and point of contact for customers in specific industry segments (e.g., wafer fabrications, semiconductors, life sciences, pharma, or chemical industries).
- Participates in tender bidding, conducts engineering studies, plans resources, costing proposals, leads tender clarifications, consolidates tender submissions and attends tender meetings.
- Understand reporting tools and models, manages the customer database, creates, monitors, and updates all opportunities, key performance indicators (KPIs) and trend analysis relevant to sales performance.
Profile:
- Engineering degree
- Minimum 10 years of sales/business development experience in the construction/EPC industry.
- Experience with high-tech projects is desirable but not required.
- Project Management experience.
- Excellent communication skills
