About The Role

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager to join our regional commercial team in Singapore. This role requires a senior-level professional with a strong strategic mindset, a deep understanding of KYC solutions, and proven experience in developing and managing high-value client relationships.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving growth across APAC, with a strong focus on the crypto segment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market presence across APAC.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities, particularly within the crypto and fintech sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted partner to C-level executives and key decision makers.
  • Partner closely with internal teams (product, compliance, operations) to deliver tailored KYC solutions that meet client needs.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to anticipate market shifts and advise leadership.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships in the financial services, fintech, or regtech industry.
  • Strong knowledge of KYC/AML processes, compliance frameworks, and client onboarding.
  • Experience working with crypto or blockchain-related clients is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing complex sales cycles and closing high-value deals.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (both spoken and written).
  • Based in Singapore or willing to relocate.
