Our client is a leading industrial packaging provider. This rapidly expanding company is now looking for a senior business development engineer to join their dynamic team during an exciting time in their development.
about the job
- Lead and generate aftermarket sales and meet the annual sales target by identifying, developing, quoting and closing the sales opportunities timely
- Participate in tender bidding and prepare proposals with the Proposal Team and be responsible for the proposal scope, pricing and terms of conditions
- Work closely with the potential and existing customers and our vendors to develop turnkey projects, parts, service and maintenance opportunities
- Lead negotiations with customers
- Support the Project Team for project and service execution, work on business processes and collaborate with other business teams
- Participate in discussions regarding our service strategy development and deployment
job requirement
- Diploma/Degree in electrical / mechanical / chemical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience
- Preferably experienced in the Energy/Oil & Gas industries
- Familiar with plastics thermoforming will be added advantage
- Extensive background in protective packaging with paper corrugated, foam and wooden crate solutions
- Remuneration Package (basic x12 mth + fix transport allowance x12 mth) + bonus
