About The Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative
Senior Business Coordinator to join the team on a
6-month contract to cover maternity leave. This role supports the operational execution of grain trading activities, ensuring smooth coordination between internal departments and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing contracts, payments, shipping logistics, and trade documentation for markets in Southeast and Southwest Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage contract execution and maintain accurate internal records.
- Coordinate trade finance activities, including Letters of Credit (LC), Documents against Payment (DP), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Liaise with shipping agents, counterparties, and internal teams to handle vessel nominations and shipping schedules.
- Prepare, review, and process trade and shipping documents in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Support daily operational functions, ensuring compliance with standard procedures and company policies.
- Act as the key point of contact for operational matters related to assigned trading areas.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
- 12 years of experience in trade operations or shipping, ideally in commodities or grain trading
- Hands-on experience with container shipments is required; bulk shipping experience is a plus.
- Familiar with trade and shipping documentation.
