Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented

Senior Business Analyst

to support digital transformation initiatives within a highly regulated environment. This role involves driving end-to-end business analysis activities across solution design, testing, implementation, and post-go-live support, requiring strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and regulatory awareness.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field
• Must have at least 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and functional documentation
• Hands-on experience supporting SIT/UAT, defect management, and implementation activities
• Good experience in designing customer-servicing platforms or customer-facing digital channels
• Experience working in regulated environments such as hospitality, financial services, government, or similar industries
• Familiar with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid SDLC methodologies
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business, IT, compliance, and vendors.

Desired Skill-set

• BA or Agile certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, CSM, or CSPO are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meet business users/stakeholders to understand their needs, problems and objectives. Conduct interviews, workshops and discussions
• Analyse business requirements, identify gaps, conflicts, dependencies and opportunities for improvement
• Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements, User Stories, Use Cases, process flows and acceptance criteria
• Study existing As-Is processes, identify inefficiencies and design To-Be processes
• Clarify requirements, answer developers questions and ensure the solution being built matches business expectations
• Prepare test scenarios, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinate defect resolution and obtain business sign-off
• Work closely with business users, management, developers, project managers, vendors and other stakeholders to align expectations.
