Senior Business Analyst / Product Manager – Insurance Agent AI Platform

We are looking for a strong Senior Business Analyst / Product Manager with deep knowledge of the Life Insurance agency and financial advisory business to support the development of a next-generation AI-powered conversational platform for insurance agents. This role requires someone who understands how insurance agents actually operate day to day from prospecting and customer engagement to appointment management, needs analysis, product discussions, follow-ups, policy servicing and relationship management. You will work closely with insurance agents, agency leaders, business stakeholders, UX teams and AI/technology teams to translate real-world agent challenges into an intelligent digital product.

Responsibilities

• Understand and map the complete insurance agent/adviser journey, including prospecting, lead management, customer meetings, needs analysis, sales conversations, follow-ups and servicing.
• Conduct workshops and discovery sessions with agents, agency leaders and distribution teams.
• Identify agent pain points, productivity gaps and opportunities for AI-driven automation and assistance.
• Define the product roadmap, MVP scope, features, epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Design chat-based and conversational journeys that help agents manage their daily activities.
• Define capabilities around calendar and appointment management, meeting preparation, customer insights, lead prioritisation, follow-up reminders and next-best actions.
• Help design AI capabilities that support agents before, during and after customer interactions.
• Translate complex insurance business processes into intuitive digital experiences.
• Work closely with UX/UI, AI, engineering, architecture and data teams throughout product development.
• Manage and prioritise the product backlog and support sprint planning, testing and product releases.
• Ensure solutions align with insurance compliance, suitability, customer consent, data privacy and sales-conduct requirements.
• Continuously gather agent feedback and improve the product based on real-world usage.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Business Analyst, Product Manager, Product Owner or Digital Transformation professional within Life Insurance.
• Deep understanding of insurance agents/advisers and how they work on a daily basis is essential.
• Strong knowledge of the insurance sales and advisory lifecycle — lead generation, prospecting, customer profiling, financial needs analysis, product recommendation, objection handling, application, follow-up and servicing.
• Experience working directly with insurance agents, agency distribution or financial advisers.
• Experience with agent portals, adviser workbenches, CRM, sales enablement or insurance distribution platforms.
• Strong product discovery, customer journey mapping and business process design capabilities.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear product and technology requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and Agile delivery experience.
