universal financial access, empowering every business to freely move and control assets globally with speed and trust. We are pioneering a frictionless global financial ecosystem by merging traditional finance with digital assets. Our 3-year North Star is to achieve

Financial Crime Operations at ReapAt
Reap, the Financial Crime Operations team safeguards our customers and our platform by preventing, detecting, and responding to financial crime across both fiat and crypto rails. As we deepen our integrations with major card networks and scale our Web3 infrastructure, FCO is transitioning from manual workflows to a modern, automated, rules-based monitoring environment.
About the RoleReports to: Lead, Financial Crime Operations (with strategic dotted line to Head of Operations)
Reap is building a modern, automated compliance infrastructure. The Senior PM, Compliance & Risk Platform owns the technology — the risk scoring engine, case management platform, audit trails, and integrations that power real-time decisioning across all compliance workflows. Compliance & Risk owns the policy — the risk appetite, approval thresholds, and regulatory framework.
What's missing is the operational domain expert who connects the two. Someone who has lived inside KYB operations, knows exactly where the friction is, and can translate that operational reality into the workflow requirements and decision logic that the Platform PM builds and Compliance governs.
That's this role. Your mission is to
flip our manual handling to straight-through processing (STP) by co-designing the risk framework with Compliance, defining the KYB automation requirements for the Platform PM, and owning the operational performance of the pipeline once it's live.
This is not an advisory role. We don't separate thinkers from doers. You will start embedded in frontline KYB operations — processing applications, feeling the pain, building the evidence base — before transitioning to the systems design and automation work. The operational immersion is what makes your requirements credible and your automation practical, not theoretical.
What You'll Do
- Workflow Requirements for Platform PM: Translate the risk framework into detailed KYB workflow specifications — decision trees, data source requirements, exception routing logic, RFI automation, and audit trail design — that the Platform PM and Engineering can build against.
- Data Readiness & Dashboards: Structure and tag onboarding data for clean automation inputs. Design and maintain operational dashboards for STP rate, exception rate, false positive rate, and processing time.
- Automation & Scripting: Build, validate, and deploy AI-assisted scripts and low-code tools for quick-win automation. Prototype rule logic. Validate and debug outputs with technical rigour.
- Process Engineering: Map as-is vs. to-be workflows to identify root causes of manual handling. Design the end-to-end STP pipeline: document collection → automated verification → screening → risk scoring → decision → activation handoff. Fix systems, not symptoms.
- Frontline KYB Operations & Edge Case Handling: Process KYB applications for Reap Direct — entity verification, UBO identification, sanctions/PEP screening, risk tiering, RFI management, and escalation. As the STP pipeline matures, shift from processing all cases to owning the exception queue (the cases the system escalates) and converting recurring patterns into new automation rules.
- Exception Analysis & Risk Framework Input: Audit exception patterns quantitatively. Co-design risk scoring criteria with Compliance & Risk — propose auto-approve thresholds, escalation triggers, and tiering logic grounded in operational evidence. Compliance sets the policy; you bring the data on what works and what doesn't.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct sampling-based reviews on auto-approved cases. Report findings to Compliance. Continuously tune the pipeline to improve accuracy and throughput.
- Strategic Bridge: Act as the voice of Onboarding Ops for Product, Engineering, and Compliance. Translate complex operational hurdles into actionable technical requirements. Ensure the Platform PM builds what operations actually needs.
- Cross-Product Scaling: Define how the Direct automation methodology extends to CaaS and Connect partner KYB. Build reusable playbooks, onboarding SLAs, and operational standards across all products.
About You
- Experience: 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, or Operations Analyst within the KYB/AML space, ideally in the Fintech or high-growth tech sector.
- Technical fluency: proficiency in SQL is mandatory. Ability to read, validate, and debug AI-generated code (Python/JavaScript preferred). You've worked with compliance platforms, screening tools, or workflow automation tools.
- Systems thinking: you don't think in individual cases; you think in workflows, decision trees, and exception patterns. When you see a process, you decompose it into what's rule-based, what's judgment-based, and what's unnecessary.
- Requirements authorship: you can write clear, specific workflow requirements that a PM and engineering team can build against.
- Data-driven rigour: you measure what matters — STP rates, false positive rates, exception volumes, processing times — and use data to drive decisions, not intuition.
- Regulatory pragmatism: you understand that automation doesn't mean cutting corners. Every automated decision must pass the stand-on-the-table test for regulators.
Strong Signals
- You've transformed a manual KYB/KYC process into an automated STP flow. You know what works, what breaks, and what takes longer than expected.
- AI/ML literacy for compliance: experience with AI-based screening disposition, automated document extraction, or LLM-based compliance tooling.
- APAC regulatory context: familiarity with HK, Singapore, or broader APAC compliance requirements.
- SQL or light scripting for data analysis and rule prototyping.
- Scaling fintech experience (Series B–D).
- Builder mindset: a natural bias toward Anything is Possible. You view a manual spreadsheet as a personal challenge.
Who This Role Is Not For
- Pure compliance policy people who've never gotten hands-on with tooling, scripting, or process automation.
- Pure engineers who haven't worked in a regulated financial environment.
- People who skip the trenches. Operational immersion period is non-negotiable. You must do the manual work to understand what needs to be automated.
- People who need a large team to feel impactful. Your leverage comes from building systems. Success means fewer people needed, not more.
Why Join Reap
- Ownership: We track impact, not chair-time. You own the finish line of every problem you take on.

- Hyper-Growth: We are building a $10B company, and we invest boldly in A-players who want to lead the future of financial access.
