Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst with proven expertise in digital platforms to strategically drive the evolution of our client-facing applications in Wealth Management. The incumbent will hold primary responsibility for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing Organization's Digital Banking platforms and services. The role spans client-facing digital channels as well as integration with core wealth and trading platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Digital Banking platforms, including Mobile App, Internet banking, Client Onboarding and client self-service functions
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of various financial instruments (Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Structured products) and their trading lifecycle (pre-trade, execution, post-trade)
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of Order & Execution Management Systems, Market data providers, and Portfolio Analytics in a Wealth Management Domain
  • Manage and drive the full product lifecycle, ensuring Customer needs are met.
  • Analyze customer journeys across various platforms, engage closely with Regional Emerging Markets Business stakeholders to understand current state processes, identify pain points and uncover improvement opportunities thereby implementing solutions to business problems
  • Define customer centric requirements that enhance usability, accessibility, and overall user experience
  • Lead and facilitate brainstorming sessions with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Business Managers, Relationship Managers, Legal & Compliance Officers, Operations teams) to elicit, analyse, and document detailed business requirements.
  • Leverage customer feedback, analytics, and market insights to recommend feature enhancements and new product capabilities
  • Conduct detailed analysis to explore alternative solutions based on business goals & benefits and guide business accordingly
  • Translate complex business problems into clear, concise functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and technical architects to design innovative and scalable digital solutions
  • Use mock-ups, and prototypes for visualization of proposed solutions and gather feedback
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate that implemented solutions meet business requirements and are free of defects
  • co UAT (User Acceptance Testing) activities, including training users and assisting with issue resolution
  • Act as a key liaison during the E2E development lifecycle, clarifying requirements and providing domain expertise
  • Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to all relevant stakeholders
  • Build strong relationships with business users, technical teams, and external vendors
  • Facilitate decision-making processes and resolve conflicts
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, user manuals, and training materials
  • Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams on new functionalities
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, innovations to identify feature gaps and enhancement opportunities

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in Technology background as a Functional Business Analyst in the Wealth Management Domain
  • Proven track record of expertise and hands-on experience specifically with Digital banking applications including Internet banking and Mobile Apps offering Transactional banking, user access management, trade services
  • In-depth knowledge of Banking Business Processes / Products in Wealth management domain
  • In-depth understanding of various financial instruments, asset classes, and investment strategies.
  • Knowledge of Core Banking platform like Avaloq or T24 and Margin Man would be an added advantage
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements impacting client reporting
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of management
  • Familiarity with APIs and integration patterns within financial systems
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
