Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with deep domain expertise in Banking Payments and Cards to work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams. The role involves endtoend requirement management, solution design support, and ensuring successful delivery of payment and card initiatives across the SDLC.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a bridge between business, operations, and IT teams for Payments and Cards initiatives
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and nonfunctional requirements
- Conduct workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and solution discussions with internal and external stakeholders
- Perform impact analysis and gap analysis for enhancements and regulatory changes
Payments & Cards Domain
- Work on Payments systems including (but not limited to):
- Domestic & International Payments
- SWIFT / ISO 20022
- Realtime payments
- Clearing & settlement
- Strong understanding of Cards domain:
- Credit / Debit Cards lifecycle
- Authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation
- Chargebacks, disputes, fraud, limits, fees
- Knowledge of payment gateways, schemes, and networks (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, etc.)
Documentation & Delivery
- Create and maintain BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flows, RTM
- Translate business requirements into clear user stories with acceptance criteria
- Support SIT, UAT, and postproduction validation
- Work closely with QA teams to ensure test coverage and requirement traceability
Agile / SDLC
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum and Waterfall delivery models
- Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Support Product Owners in prioritization and roadmap alignment
Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory
- Strong Banking domain experience with focus on Payments and/or Cards
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in large BFSI programs
- Excellent skills in requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation
- Handson experience with Agile delivery
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Good to Have
- Experience with Core Banking systems
- Exposure to regulatory and compliance requirements in payments/cards
- Knowledge of API integrations, digital banking, and fintech ecosystems
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, SQL (basic)
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or equivalent
- MBA / Banking or Financial certifications preferred
