Responsibilities
- Able to handle banking operations processes like payments / cash, securities and settlement activities.
- Banking operations are to be understood from--
- A business point of view e.g. how are payment executed in the market, different industry settlement rules, clearing & custody systems, etc.
- A systems point of view meaning understanding of how transactions are to be booked / processed in a core banking system e.g. different legs of complex products, fees schedules to be set-up in the system, etc.
- An end-to-end view meaning understanding of the different steps and different intervenient / interdependencies.
- Able to understand incident and release management process, L1 / L2 / L3 Production Management Process.
- Managing / monitoring Control-M and Tivoli/Geneos monitoring tools.
- Ability to listen, analyze, influence, negotiate and use judgment to solve complex issues within SLA to accomplish project goals.
- Able to demonstrate team skills with a proven ability to communicate with clients, business, vendors, management and project team at all levels.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a high-stress, high-pressure environment. Be very stress-resistant.
Skills Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology/Engineering/Computer Science.
- 4-7 years of experience in Banking sector with Application Production support background within the Wealth Management industry.
- Knowledge/Exposure of Avaloq, Digital platforms would be a high plus.
- Possess ITIL V8 Foundation certification.
- VB Scripting & Excel Macro & Digital UI will be a plus.
- JAVA and .NET Scripting & knowledge.
- Exposure in Job Automation tool like Control-M , Incident ticketing tool - Service Now.
- Unix file systems, commands, shell scripting development and trouble shooting.
- Windows systems, batch scripting development and trouble shooting.
- Oracle PL/SQL queries development and trouble shooting.
- Knowledge in IT risk policies to safeguard production environment and data.
- Proven track record in client and/or front-office facing (from an operational point of view).
- Understanding of infrastructure and different layers to fix infrastructure issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, ability to interface with all levels of management.
