We are seeking a highly-motivated Business Analyst who is mainly responsible for analyzing business needs, identifying areas for improvement, and providing data-driven solutions to support organizational goals. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and ensuring seamless communication between business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Requirements Analysis & Elicitation:
- Collaborate with BU Specialists to elicit and review business requirements.
- Analyse and document the to be business and operations processes based on the agreed requirements and/ or function points, perform impact assessment.
- Responsible to analyse and define detailed functional and non-functional requirements based on business requirements.
- Monitor and manage risks/issues related to requirements and scope creep.
- Write business functional release notes and contribute to deployment plan.
2.
Team Collaboration:
- Transition functional and non-functional requirements to System Analysts, and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.
- Work with Test Manager to translate business requirements into test scenarios.
- Maintain up to date knowledge base related to application features and processes.
3.
Testing & Scope Management:
- Clarify test findings escalated by Test Manager and classify the findings accordingly.
- Perform impact assessment and estimation for Project.
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Information System, Financial Engineering or similar domain.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Hands-on exp as System Analyst in Product Control for any trading platform is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge and functional experience on various asset classes. E.g. FX MM, IRD, EQD
- Solid experience in gathering and writing requirements and functional specifications.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and process design skills that can translate analysis into solutions that meet business objectives.
- Strong understanding of business process reengineering and optimization.
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
- Experienced in developing concise and comprehensive test plans and cases.
- Proactive with the ability to deliver tasks on-time.
- Highly committed and motivated to learn in the Financial Market.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to a variety of audiences.
- Familiarity with fintech solutions and how they can be applied to solve challenges in the financial sector.
- Strategic forward-thinking approach to challenges with outstanding communications, influencing, negotiating and persuasion skills.
