We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Bunker Trader to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing marine fuel trading operations, ensuring seamless execution of spot and term deals, and building strong relationships with clients and suppliers globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full trading lifecycle for marine fuels, including pricing, negotiation, contract execution, and settlement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with ship owners, charterers, suppliers, and brokers.
- Monitor global bunker markets and provide market insights to support business decisions.
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation.
- Identify opportunities for margin optimization and risk mitigation while maintaining compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate closely with finance and credit teams to manage post-deal processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in bunker trading or marine fuel operations.
- Proven track record in spot and term trading within the marine fuels industry.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and market awareness.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Proactive, self-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
